Tom Powers is President of Powered Protection Inc., a Buffalo based security and fire alarm provider. Tom has worked on building a team that meets and exceeds clients expectations for the last six years. He has extensive experience in creative and innovative security solutions. His recent activities include designing and installing a complete building protection system. The system includes fire protection, intrusion protection, building HVAC automation, access control, and video surveillance with perimeter fencing, plate recognition and remote viewing.
Tom frequently speaks at local technology and safety functions and serves as the Secretary on the New York State Electronic Security Association. He is the past president of the Western New York Electronic Security Association. Tom lives in Buffalo, New York and is interested in flying, boating, golfing and is preparing to compete in his fourth Tough Mudder competition.

Tom has worked in the security industry since 1997 with experience as a central monitoring dispatcher, an installer, a service technician, a salesman, and general manager. Some of my certifications include the following:
